Problem or Use Case
By default, there's no option to turn off the chamber light when a print finishes.
There's also an open issue on the BambuLab Github (https://github.com/bambulab/BambuStudio/issues/1957) but we all know that Bambu doesn't care at all for this repository, the issue is still unanswered by Bambu since June 2023.
Keeping the light on after a print has finished has no added value.
Proposed Solution
It would be great if there was a switch in the settings that would trigger the chamber light off when a print has finished.
Alternatives Considered
I used to run a Home Assistant automation that toggles the chamber light off but this doesn't work anymore.

@maziggy commented on GitHub (Feb 5, 2026):
Why don't you switch the printer off? Just want to understand the use case.
@Roycinger commented on GitHub (Feb 5, 2026):
Because switching the printer off isn't always the best solution.
For example after an ABS print, the exhaust fan needs to run for a bit to extract fumes effectively.

That's why Bambuddy has the power plug integration. Set the timer and then it gets switched off after x minutes.
