Problem or Use Case

One of my issues with the H2S is that it consumes so much power on startup. I usually have to manually adjust it by 5C in order to not make my UPS beep.

Proposed Solution

Add a feature where i can control the temps in printers but also adding in a feature the slowing increments the temperature so it doesn't blow my fuse.

Alternatives Considered

Feature Category

Print Archiving

Priority

Nice to have

Mockups or Examples

Unfortunately this is outside the scope of what Bambuddy can reasonably solve — the power draw at startup is a hardware/electrical issue that's better addressed at the infrastructure level (e.g. a higher-rated UPS or a smart plug with soft-start). Bambu Lab printers don't expose granular heater ramping controls over MQTT, so there's no reliable way to implement gradual temperature stepping from software.

There wouldn't be a way to set bed temps or nozzle temps through the dashboard? Also it wouldn't be possible to add in a soft start that would incrementally add 3C per 5 seconds? I don't think it needs to be too complicated
