Bug Description
Hello,
we installed Bambuddy in our office and it works nicely but I can't access the settings, even though I'm an admin user. At first, I could access it by going directly to the /settings URL but that doesn't work anymore.
edit: Checked with another account and somehow I wasn't an admin anymore.
There is still no menu option for the settings, but I can access them via /settings again now.
Interestingly, when I disable my internet connection and try to refresh, the settings button in the sidebar comes back until my internet connection comes back and I refresh again.
I tried turning off adblock in my Browser (Brave 1.87.190) but that doesn't help. I also tried opening it in a private window, which didn't help either.
I also tried creating a new user and adding it to the "Administrators"-group but that new user can't see the menu entry either.
Unfortunately I can't update right now, because I don't have access to the Docker management software.
Expected Behavior
Being able to access settings as admin.

Checklist
@maziggy commented on GitHub (Feb 23, 2026):
You can't access the settings, because you don't have the required permissions. So you have to ask your admin.
BTW: 01.9 is way too old. I strongly suggest to update to the latest version.
@kevdotnet commented on GitHub (Feb 23, 2026):
I am Admin. See here:
@maziggy commented on GitHub (Feb 23, 2026):
Sorry, but it doesn't makes sense to debug an outdated version.

We will update tomorrow and then I'll get back to you with more infos in case the issue persists.
Thank you for your quick reponse.
