Bug Description

Hello,

I am encountering an issue with my Bambu Lab P1S.

Error Code: 07FF-8012
Message: "Failed to get AMS mapping table; please select 'Resume' to retry."

I do not have an AMS system installed or connected. I am only using the external spool holder.

The error appears when starting a print and prevents me from printing at all. Pressing "Resume" does not resolve the issue.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Load filament using the external spool
  2. Start a print
  3. The error appears

What I have tried:

  • Restarting the printer
  • Reloading filament
  • Trying different print files
  • Replacing the SD card

It seems like the printer or software is incorrectly expecting an AMS even though none is connected.

Expected Behavior

The printer should start printing normally using the external spool without requiring or referencing an AMS system.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Turn on the printer
  2. Load filament using the external spool holder (no AMS connected)
  3. Start any print
  4. The error 07FF-8012 appears and prevents printing

I had the same issue with my P1S and no AMS combo. The dev branch resolved it (though now I'm missing telemetry such as bed/nozzle temps, printer status, etc).

There must be something wrong with your system. Please uplod debug logs.
