Bug Description

After a fresh installation of Bambuddy v0.1.7 with authentication enabled, an “Authentication required” message appears when toggling the chamber light of a newly added printer. The issue resolves itself after logging out and back in.

Logging out of Bambuddy and logging in again makes the issue disappear. After re-login, the message does not appear again.

Seems to happen only after the initial setup

Expected Behavior

The chamber light should toggle without requiring re-authentication.

Steps to Reproduce

  • Perform a fresh installation of Bambuddy v0.1.7
  • Enable authentication when prompted during the setup wizard (username/password)
  • Add a P1S printer
  • Try to turn the chamber light on or off
