Problem or Use Case
We already can create custom spools under settings > filament > spool catalog. I use a mix of bambu, sunlu and printed spools. In the filament section we can assign filaments to our spools of the spool catalog. We can show or hide columns for the overview, but we can not select the name of the spool (given in the spool catalog)
Proposed Solution
It would be nice to select the spool name column in the filament section. So we can filter our spools by different spool brands. And it would be nice to see in the Filament overview

@maziggy commented on GitHub (Mar 17, 2026):
So you just want a new column for that? How is it populated?
@DMoenning commented on GitHub (Mar 17, 2026):
Basically it should be populated with the name of the spool you select for empty spool weight. Its already in the modal but can not be selected as a visible culumn in the overview.

Got it.
