Could you clarify what you mean by "printing started without assigned Filament"? A few possible scenarios:

  1. No filament loaded — The printer starts a print but nothing is loaded in the nozzle (no AMS tray selected)
  2. Empty AMS slot — A tray is selected but the slot is actually empty (no spool inserted)
  3. External spool with no info — Using the external spool holder where filament type isn't detected

Hi, rather a fourth scenario. The Filament usage tracking is a nice new feature. If one is not using original Bambulab filament then spool is not automatically assigned (to AMS slot) thus usage is not tracked, remaining weight is not calculated.
The request is to send a notification in case a printing started from an AMS slot where Spool is not assigned (which I usually forget)

No, that's not correct. You can assign non Bambu Lab spools to an inventory spool to track filament usage.
