I just looked into Accrescent. Interesting project, at an interesting time. I wonder how they will be affected by the Android requirements for "side loading". Also, there seems to be a total of 10 Apps or so on the store. I'd say it hasn't quite reached critical mass yet to compete with Fdroid, hehe. You gotta start somewhere.

For now, I am not interested in spending more time trying to get into another store.

they mention here on mastodon that they will write a blog post about the android developer verification requirement. according to them, they will be affected by it. if your reason for not getting listed on accrescent is that there are only 10 apps, you would be part of the problem. but you made it clear, that you don't have the time to do it, which i understand

If it's easy to do then sure, but it's invite only and they say that they expect stuff to break/change frequently. That doesn't sound easy to me right now.

i am just a humble user of grapheneos and i am happy about every app i use that is listed on accrescent

Therefore, our next development cycle will be focused primarily on improvements for developers who publish their apps to Accrescent. - https://blog.accrescent.app/posts/road-behind-road-ahead/

that blog post is from some days ago. so maybe it is better to wait until that is implemented

before i've setup ntfy i used sunup which recently got added to accrescent, but i can't tell you how hard it is
