💡 Idea
I noticed that on the native Android app messages in a topic get marked as read when you close the topic view. In the web app messages get marked as read as soon as you click a topic with new messages. The latter means you don't know which messages are actually new from a marker but have to look at the message content or at least at their timestamps. I think the way it is handled in the Android app is way better.
