🐞 Describe the bug
When I send messages which use the new
update,clear, anddeletefeatures, the web app responds as expected whether its run on Linux, Windows, or Android.But when subscribed to the same topic as the above systems, the Android client version 1.21.1 (installed from Google's Play Store) does not respond in any way to messages which use the new features:

@binwiederhier commented on GitHub (Jan 24, 2026):
The 1.22.1 version is being released slowly. The release started at Jan 20 and usually takes about a week. I start at 5% of devices and slowly increase to 100% over 7 days.
You can join the beta on the Google Play listing page to get the version already.
@therden commented on GitHub (Jan 25, 2026):
Thank you for the response. I hadn't realized that a fresh install from Google Play wouldn't provide the latest release, or that you could do a limited push of updates to current installations. I've now joined the Beta, and can confirm that the features are now working as expected on my cellphone.
The new update/clear/delete functionality is fantastic, by the way. Thanks for that, and for ntfy generally!
