I was trying to install it on Android TV. It's not available on playstore on Android TV ( doesn't appear). May be there is a flag that needs to be enabled in play store developer console to make it available for TV?

If you are ok with using Fdroid, ntfy is available there: https://f-droid.org/en/packages/io.heckel.ntfy

Installed fine on my Shield TV, but the notifications doesn't seem to work for me.
I'm guessing it is a me issue rather than a ntfy issue though. :)
I can't remember ever seeing a notification on my Shield (Although the support is there.) so it's probably something I turned off somewhere.

The app itself works pretty well with a tv remote.
