🐞 Describe the bug
ntfy.sh homepage does not describe the free tier limits
💻 Components impacted
homepage
🔮 Additional context
https://ntfy.sh/ describes the limits for the different paid tiers on ntfy.sh, but not the free tier.
I had to go hunting to find it, and it's buried in https://docs.ntfy.sh/publish/#limitations. If I'm reading that correctly the information to include on the home page is:
@griffinli commented on GitHub (Dec 13, 2025):
I agree that this should be included on the homepage.
@binwiederhier commented on GitHub (Jan 5, 2026):
You can also look this up here: https://ntfy.sh/v1/account
I'll see if I can link the limits somewhere from the home page, but I don't think I want to add it to the main page directly as a tier for now.
@griffinli commented on GitHub (Jan 5, 2026):
I would still recommend including it within viewing distance of the paid item lists, because the natural thought of someone who reads the landing page is, "How many daily messages are included in the free tier?"
Even if you don't include it as a card in the row of cards, you could include it in the paragraph of text below. As shown by the likes on this issue, many people have been looking for this information.
@RexYuan commented on GitHub (Feb 17, 2026):
Seconded. It took me a bit of googling to find the exact limits of the free plan
