Problem or Use Case
Feature request from https://github.com/maziggy/bambuddy/issues/311
"Speaking about how the update is listed, you could tecnically do that for the AMS units as well. I know when I first got mine it said they were out of date and needed an update. I don't know if you have it programmed to show they are out of date, but might be something to add to confirm version.
You could also add hover over for serial number like how you are doing with the nozzles."
Proposed Solution
Add the SN# and the firmware version ( and if it needs an update) like what was added in 0.1.9b3 for the H2C to the HT / AMS / AMS 2 Pro

Same thing could apply with the orange/green version showing above the AMS units.
As far as the SN, you could have it at the bottom like you currently have the device SN# showing. Or something simlar to what bambu studio does.

@maziggy commented on GitHub (Feb 10, 2026):
Unfortunately there is no public source for the AMS firmware. At least I was not able to find anything useful.
Until you guys have a good idea, I don't know how to implement this properly.
@jjjonesjr33 commented on GitHub (Feb 10, 2026):
Is there not a way to have it read the version, and have that shown?
Also request still valid for it to have the SN# listed for each AMS on hover over.
@maziggy commented on GitHub (Feb 11, 2026):
Is that really required? If you want to check the serial, you can do so via display or slicer. To be honest, I don't see a real value.
