I really appreciate ntfy. This really is a great project. I use it for a usecase with potentially very many users. It would be very useful here if you could subscribe to a topic simply by scanning a QR code inside the mobile app (Android/iOS). The QR code should contain the server URL as well as the name of the topic.

Sure, if this feature is implemented, it would make sense to consider all potentially possible parameters. Since there is already a very similar feature request (https://github.com/binwiederhier/ntfy/issues/756), I have closed this issue.
