💡 Idea
As discussed on Matrix, it would be great if markdown could be implemented on iOS as the messages sent using markdown don't look great.

I understand that we don't currently have any iOS developer so in the meantime, it might perhaps be worth considering stripping out some things like ** markers and images which aren't recognised so we can at least have clean plain text?

No update yet. But if you use the PWA on iOS, you get all the features of the web app, including Markdown rendering
